Eaton's Duplex (or double basket) strainer can operate continuously and never has to be shut down for cleaning. This type of basket strainer has two separate strainer basket chambers that operate independently. When one basket chamber becomes full, the flow is switched to the other allowing the first basket to be pulled out and cleaned. Model 53BTX
Static Mixers
Series 600/650 Statiflo Mixer
Large diameter stainless steel or coated carbon steel/stainless steel mixers with fixed elements for water and wastewater treatment industries and general purpose. Flanged or plain ended for VJ couplings. Optional injectors and sampling points. Coatings are available in Scotchkote 206N or Rilsan.
Series 900 Statiflo Mixer
Statiflo Series 900 Channel Mixers rapidly achieve a high degree of mix with extremely low headloss in very short lengths. Complete mixing in the channel is possible, achieving a low CoV, over a wide range of flowrates. With headlosses of just a few millimetres feasible, gravity flow is an option, eliminating the expense of pumping, saving not just capital costs, but ongoing maintenance and energy costs too.
Filter Media
Available in several media types, these bags are manufactured from materials that are compliant with FDA requirements for food contact applications. Operating on the principle of depth filtration, needled felt filter bags are effective at removing both solid and gelatinous particles. 100% pure fibers are needled to create a tortuous path in a three-dimensional medium. The SLP cartridge combines the advantages of a depth filter with those of a pleated cartridge.
Due to the thicker, deep and wide pleats they are stronger than other pleated cartridges and are ideally suited for liquids with a high solid content or a high viscosity. The thicker pleats with their graded density are able to effectively capture and retain gels.
The filter medium also has a sharp cut-off, so that particles smaller than the absolute rated value can easily pass the filter medium and remain in the fluid. All of this results in a long service life and superior flow rates. Data Sheet
